Voices of Light brings together the Baroque elegance of Purcell, the passion of Puccini, the lyricism of Schubert, and the fire of Gershwin and Ginastera, alongside rarely heard works by Ukrainian composers Kyrylo Stetsenko, Myroslav Skoryk, Ivan Taranenko and Ihor Shamo. The programme closes with a vibrant trio of Spanish songs, taking the audience on a journey from London to Kyiv, Buenos Aires and beyond.
All proceeds from this concert will go towards providing essential supplies — power banks, electric blankets and generators — to vulnerable communities in Ukraine, including families with disabled children and people with limited mobility. When people choose to help, compassion becomes electricity.
